Behind The Brand

Elizabeth Bay House is a heritage-listed gem nestled in the heart of Sydney's Elizabeth Bay. Built between 1835 and 1839, this grand colonial mansion was once described as "the finest house in the colony." Designed by architect John Verge for Colonial Secretary Alexander Macleay, the house boasts elegant period furnishings and a stunning central elliptical saloon with a domed lantern and cantilevered staircase. Surrounded by meticulously landscaped gardens, it offers a picturesque setting for intimate weddings and special events. Managed by Museums of History NSW, Elizabeth Bay House is open to the public and available for private functions.
